Negligence

Negligence is a legal concept that refers to the failure of an individual or entity to exercise reasonable care and caution, resulting in harm or damage to another person or property. In order for negligence to be proven in court, four elements must be established: duty, breach of duty, causation, and damages. The concept of negligence is an important consideration in many legal contexts, including personal injury cases, medical malpractice, and business law.
