Willful Misconduct

Willful misconduct refers to intentional or deliberate behavior that is illegal, unethical, or in violation of a person’s duties or obligations. It generally involves an intentional act or omission that causes harm or damage to another party. Willful misconduct is often used in the context of contracts or employment agreements to describe behavior that is so egregious that it can result in termination of the contract or agreement.

In legal terms, willful misconduct is a higher standard of conduct than negligence, as it involves an intentional act, as opposed to mere carelessness or negligence.
